Over the last ten years John Wood and Paul Harrison have been building up a series of burlesque scenes recorded on video in which they themselves are the principal actors.

Recently John Wood and Paul Harrison have introduced a new dimension to their work by focussing less on themselves but on everyday objects which are placed in odd situations and observed as though being tested for unexplored possibilities. The simultaneous appearance of posters and graphical elements as well as three-dimensional pieces made for their exhibitions further proves the intrinsically sculptural concerns of these artists.
Rochechouart Contemporary Art Museum devotes a whole floor of the castle exhibition space to works featuring both artists, the first show of this scale in France, providing a representative view of their art.

Exhibition co-produced by Ikon Gallery (Birmingham, UK) and Thun Kunstmuseum (Switzerland).
