Every collection results from a collector's choices. The works on display again depend on someone selecting them. Collection / Translation is an experiment in opening up the process to the public.

Visitors were given the power to make their own choices from March to June. Three works from the museum collection, shown consecutively in the gallery for one month each, were the starting point for classes of pupils or students to appropriate them, researching documents, generating ideas and choosing pictures or texts to exhibit in the gallery as an interpretation of the original work.
