Charlotte Moth (1978, UK) has created during the last ten years a body of work that is essentially photographic but which primarily emerges through the experience of sculpture, architecture and cinema. For her first monographic exhibition in a French institution, the artist was invited to develop a specific project. Inspired by the archives of Raoul Hausmann (1886-1971) which are held at Rochechouart.

Aurélien Froment's Table of Recall is a game with 96 cards and as many different images. To play, the artist proposes that we turn over the cards two by two in order to try and form pairs. Since no card is identical, one has to agree during the game on possible and impossible associations. Some pairs can be based on formal analogies, but they can also arise from other justifications, hidden resemblances; like playing with "sympathies" for example.

Raoul Hausmann dates his first abstract poem to 1918. fmsbwtö is not a text articulating new or incomprehensible words but in fact an “act of breathing and oral associations which are inseparably linked to the time sequence […] (of the poems) and based on letters; there is no longer any potential to create a language with a sense of coordinated sequence”.
